| Seeking a recommendation...
A lot of the recent generation of good auto-nav GPS's are now $200-250
at discount electronic retailers. Things like the i3 and c330 to name
two Garmin products. What auto GPS in that range would you call the
best value today for personal use only?
Also, my car has a deep dashboard and severely sloping windshield. Do
any mount nicely on a plastic dash-shelf?

If you want something solely for use in car, then things like the TomTom
One/Go all in one units are good. Or if you want something you can use out
and about and also in car, perhaps a WinCE PDA running TomTom Navigator. I
have the latter, and it works great. Yeah, they should all mount on the
dash, but if not, there is a suction cup and bendy arm you can use if your
windscreen is awkward (at least on the PDA).

Yeah, this is just for car use while driving. I have an iQue 3200
PDA, but it's much to "fiddly" to use while driving.

LOL, you're not supposed to fiddle with them whilst driving, you set it up
before you go and it directs you along your route. Never used the iQue
before though, I'l admit.

| I just bought the iWay 250c from Lowrance and I love it. Ran about $199.
Lots of nice features that you usually only find on the really expensive
models. Its easy to use and has an MP3 player included.
