Garmin GPSMAX CSX60... very suddenly it can not find any cities outside my home
county when in the "find addresss" mode. What happened? I think I have all my
maps turned on. Using metroguide usa version 5. Thanks.

BTW it finds all the cities just fine in the "find nearby cities" mode even the
ones in other states and counties. This problem seems to be restricted to the
"find address" mode.

Does anyone have an answer for this problem? I reinstalled my maps but the
problem is still there.

I have never used Metroguide, so all I know about it is what I've read
in the groups; but your original post implies that what you're trying
to do used to work and now no longer does, so I'll take it as a given
that it should work.

It could be that "find nearby cities" looks for them on the basemap,
while find address is searching the detailed map data loaded from
Metroguide.

I assume you mean that you reloaded the maps from your computer to the
60CSx. Since there is a third-party program that can be used to load
maps on the unit, I need to ask: do you have MapSource?
If you're using MapSource, what version number do you have?
