I just wanted to know if the garmin ique m5 has a fuse. I accidentally
plugged in the wrong adapter and now it doesn't even turn on. When I
try charging it with the charger it came with the green light on the
charger turns on, then when i connect it to the garmin ique it turns
off and the charger makes a weird sound. The light on the garmin ique
doesnt turn on when i plug in the charger. I oppend it up today but i
couldnt take off the circuit board. I didn't want to mess with it that
much because im not even sure if it has a fuse.
I went to the garmin website and they charge 175 dollars to do a
factory overhaul. Do I still get charged that much even if it is a
minor problem? I was thinking about sending it but if i can fix it my
self then it would be a lot better.
