Author Garming converter...

Is there a converter available that will convert Garmin maps into
OziExplorer format, or even any image file type so they can then be loaded
into OziExplorer and calibrated manually? Reason being, I want to be able to
use Garmin maps in a non Garmin PDA.

Marcus,
I invite you to join the Map Authors Group
http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/map_authors/
where you will many knowledgeable folks willing to help you with your
questions about creating GPS maps, including the developer and users
of GPSMapEdit (http://www.geopainting.com/en/) which will open and
export img files.

I hope this helps!

Hi!
Just an idea : why don=B4t you take a screen "snapshot"(PrintScreen in
the keyboard) of the map you want , then manage it with a image
editor and then fix it with Ozi?
