| Hopefully this is a one off , however retailers and other consumers have
confirmed this is not the case
My Navman serial number R2E5504470 went faulty after being used twice in 2
months . I sent it to NAVMAN Australia ( gladesville ) for repair at my
expense
They returned it and first power up - same white screen - also thanks
Navamn for sticking it unprotected or wrapped in a mail bag - reall nice
touch . Called them again and complained about freight costs so they said
send it to our reply paid post address.
Umpteen emails ( sick of calling ansd waiting and no reply - so long in for
repair i dont have that phone sevrice connected anymore ) , countless more
emails and 6 months later I still do not have a GPS , they will not explain
in any emails what the issue is , yet they told me they were waiting on new
replacement stock , last phone call i did get through ( about 2 months ago).
Where is my unit ? , and guess what when you have used their prepaid post
you have no proof of the unit where it is , so i cant even claim theft -
nice one NAVMAN .
Even the parent company BRUNSWICK corporation in the U.S wont respond to
emails . They have been trying to sell off Navman for 2 years according to
their web site , no wonder the poor buggers got a pup !
I contacted the retailer ( who shall remain nameless) and they stated
NAVMAN is NOT recommended , TOM TOM is a good brand they said . Also WHY do
NAVAMN flog off remanufactured GPS units ? because so many fail obviously ,
i should have seen that one at the time !!! . If anyone sees the ICN510
serial R2E5504470 resurface please contact the police immediately , it is
stolen and I have a receipt to prove it. .
Shame on NAVMAN , you have a crap product , crap service and I'm a ticked
off consumer who will tell this to the world.
