| Have just bought my first GPS system. Have it up and running and no
problems, except that I notice that the software I have is dated 2006. My
question is - from where do I purchase (or download if possible) the latest
Australian street maps, etc, software?. My system takes the SD memory card
by the way.
Thanks in anticipation.

Without knowing what GPS you are using, it's difficult to supply
a specific answer.
The best bet is to go to the website of the company that made your
system and check for upgrades there.

| Most compaines are in the process of releasing their Australian 2007
maps now
While most source their Australian mapping from Sensis, the mapping is
converted to the GPS manufacturers format and released.
You must purchase your mapping from the manufacturer

Hi,
Contacted Kogan and they said they would send me details of updated maps,
etc. A few days later they emailed me and gave me link to download latest
navigation software (maps, etc). There was no charge and it works great.
Thanks Kogan.
