third-party accessories for Nuvi?

| What do all of you Garmin nuvi owners do for accessories? Did you buy
only Garmin, or third party? Which brands and which models? Why?
I'm going to get either a 300 or 600 series nuvi., not sure yet which
one. That's the subject of another message.
Thanks in advance,

What 'accessories' are you talking about? For some items [like an AC
supply], only the garmin supply is 'wired' so that the gps won't go into PC
connect mode. For other classes of items [like special mounting options],
you will likely find those only from non-garmin sources. If you are
talking about an external antenna, garmin is the last place I'd go [for
price reasons]. But of course, if you are talking about maps or the car
cables that have electronics contained inside, there's only one game in
town -- garmin.
