Author Navman Sleeve for Ipaq Compact Flash card limit???

I have a Navman 3000 or 3100 sleeve (don't know how to distinguish
them, I guess it's a 3100), which is installed, drivers loaded.

Several newsgroup posts mention CF cards and CF microdrives, but I
cannot seem to get a 'standard' card or drive running in it...
I tried an old 128MB Kingston CF card which works...
and I then started using a 2.2GB Microdrive and a SanDisk 2GB CF
Extreme II card, but they don't work.
Plugging the Microdrive freezes/slows down the ipaq to an unusable
speed...
Plugging the 2GB CF card, doesn't do anything, the card isn't being
recognized, so it seems.

Is there anyone who knows what cards work in this sleeve, before I go
buying tons of cards to test with...

I need at least 900MB storage for my TomTom 6 to store the WE-maps...
So a 1GB card should do fine...

Any help or info would be appreciated...
Navman doesn't have any manuals on their website/support page
anymore... If anyone has one of these in pdf, please send it to me...
(3100 version)

Thanks

Bram
