HI aLL, I emailed tom tom go support asking if there was any scheme to
allow me to obtain maps for a new 720 at a discount, having already
purchased new maps for my exisiting TTG 300. This is one of the
replies i received.

"Dear Mr Williams,

Thank you for contacting TomTom Customer Support.

Please, be advised you purchased the maps for your Go 300, therefore,
you must use them for this specific device as they are not compatible
with the 720 model.

Evidently, it was your own personal choice to buy another device,
unfortunately, we cannot be held accountable for your personal
decisions."

So that's how much TTG value customer loyalty! BE WARNED
