Wrong time on Garmin C510
|
|
|
| I'm using a Garmin C510 It's now 21.20, but the clock says 17.05 -
can't work out how to change the time? I'm indoors so no signal at
present. Does the unit pick up a time signal when there is sat.
reception??
Would appreciate any help.

Yes - the time is derived from the received satellite signals. So...either
you've got no reception ... or it could be set to the wrong TimeZone --
though a difference of 4hrs 15mins doesn't quite fit that description.

Since the last firmware upgrade, GARMIN C510/C550 show time of last power
off before they receive time signal from satellite. Previous firmaware was
not behaving like that, time was good at startup or adjust by FM Trafic
message Chanel.
Please report this to GARMIN Support team, a future firmware upgrade may fix
this issue.
