Possible dumb noob question.

I bought my first GPS unit yesterday. A Soniz QNG400.
It came with an Australian map preloaded, but it's a 2006 one. I cannot
find anywhere that I can get a newer map. (Once I do get one, figuring
out how to install it will ba another chore, but I'm sure I'll figure
that bit out!)
Anyone know where I can get a newer map for this unit please?
It has a thing called Destinator 6, which might mean something to you.
Thanks in advance.

Yeah, I asked the guy that sold it to me, and he had no clue. As I expected
from these large chain stores that sell everything.

Yes, I found that too, but the deal finished on December 12 last year, and
there's no other link to where I can buy updates. The link on that site just
downloads a form to fill out and send away for the free update before
December 12.
The support phone number was fun too. Gives you about 6 options. Each
option, when selected, disconnects your call without getting put through to
anyone, except the last option, which after 5 tries, I was actually put
through to someone.
Waiting on a call back from the woman, but fingers crossed she is going to
let me get the offer that expired on December 12 because she thinks they
still have some of the sd cards with the new maps left over.
I'll let you know if it works out.
Thanks for the help.

Just got a call back, and yes, they are going to let me get the old December
offer for a map upgrade at no charge. Seems they don't have anywhere you can
just download them. They get you to send the original sd card back, and they
send you a new one with the new map on it.
Thanks for the help guys.
