I am looking into buying a GlobalSat BT-359 Bluetooth GPS receiver. It
is primarily to be used with a BlackBerry Curve 8300.

I would also like to use it with a laptop w/bluetooth for Microsoft
Streets & Trips and DeLorme Topo USA 7.0.

I would like anyone's experience and opinion in using it for:

1) The BlackBerry
2) MS S&T (current version = 2006)
3) Topo USA

It would be especially useful it is known to be incompatible with the
computer programs.

Also, if you know whether or not I could use it with the BlackBerry and
the laptop at the same time (running just one of the programs on the
laptop at a time).

Please note, this is a *cross-posted posting*.

I use it with a TyTan II and it works fine albeit with software I have
writen for myself. In fact it works fine but the built-in GPS seems to have
all sorts of problems even with an added antenna.
Having said that I now note that my receiver is a BT 338 but I can't imagine
there would be too much difference.
