c330 Problem updating softwarew via USB cable

| I want to update my c330 software, followed directions carefully, and
succeeded in installing their USB drivers. However, after connecting
via USB cable, I cannot get it to "see" the device as a USB device,
only the serial connection shows in the Updater dialogue box!
ANY help would be much appreciated!

| I found the answer! I had commected my c330 to a USB hub, when I
connected it to a USB port on the motherboard, it worked FINE!

| Yes, or your USB hub must have an internal mains supply, because most
of the other hubs have too little power!
