| Bob,
This is how I've used the new "waypoint" capability -
When I am stopped some place and I just want to record the location
of the place, I do-
Where to/Browse Map
This shows your current location, then hit Go
This next screen, I believe, is new. It creates a location/waypoint
called "001" and gives you an option to save it.
Previously, we had to Browse Map, manually point to the location
and tell it to save that location. Now, although I havent tried
this myself, we should be able to use this on a trail and just stop
and do saves along the way. Stopping is required, else you will not
get a "save" screen. This last point I am not able to reverify at
this time as I am working it indoors near a window....
hope that helps,
john
