MapSource TOPO USA

| Anyone know of a MapSource TOPO USA Tips and Tricks web site?
Some questions I have are:
1. Is it possible to merge saved *.gbd files together, so as to add tracks
so as to display several days of travel onto one map display
2. Where or where are the snowmobile trails? I haven't looked as much for
the hiking trails, but don't see them either. We have LOTS of both here in
NY. 80% of the reason I bought this was to save My life while trying to keep
up on a snowmobile following my 79 year old 'father-in-law'!! : ) Scary!!
3. In using the Route Tool how do you do curves? Some of the roads I travel
are nice and straight, some are rather curvy! If I route the curves by using
allot of short, straight lines, I then end up with ALLOT of turn prompts! Am
I just to OCD and just do straight lines from turn to turn only and just
skip curves?
4. Why does MapSource show less detail on the PC than it does on the GPS? I
have some ramps on Syracuse NY - No matter how much I zoomed in on the PC it
just did not show the ramps; But one I downloaded the map onto my GPSMAP
76CS it show the ramps just fine!
Thanks

You can cut and paste tracks from one .gdb file to another.

Routes help you navigate point-to-point, as the crow flies. One option
is to show the trails as tracks on your GPS and just do route turns at
critical junctions, etc.
BTW, my book has a full chapter on MapSource US Topo.
