ok, those (lithium iron disulfide) must be what I used then. Got 'em
from Radio Shack. Expensive? Yup. But they last for quite a while and
are not re-chargable so I guess they aren't L.I.s
Actually I've gotta get some more quick for my hunting trips. Know
anywhere online to order "bulk"? As in maybe 24 or so?

That's going to be one hell of a trip! Two AAs will last over a day in my
Garmin. What are you hunting, the Yeti?!

lol. No, but there's no electricity where we're going. So, flashlights
are needed to get to the lodge for breakfast, dinner, etc. Headband
light for in/out of the woods. Of course batteries for my IPOD and
portable speakers for it. Alarm clocks, yada-yada-yada all take
batteries and I ain't driving 50 miles to town to get more if I run out.

Portable generator for powering lights and charging batteries. That's what
we do on our hunting trips. Lets us watch TV (we bring a satellite dish)
and play cards and what-not in the evening as well as charge up the
walkie-talkies and other battery devices.

I think that they'd get cranky. ;-) It's not our place (lordy, I wish
it was).

The lodge has elect. during the day. The cabins have gas lights and
woodstoves. They do have an inside toilet and shower though. The food
that they serve is absolutely outrageous. :-D
