Author Programming for the Rino

Hey all,
I would like to program my own interface to download track, routes &
waypoints from my Rino 120. I am a fairly handy Java programmer, but not the
most familiar with serial communications or the Garmin protocol...does
anyone know where I can find info to get me up to speed?
Thanks,
Patrick

You might try Garmin, I've heard that they've got an inside source of
information on Garmin's communication protocols. ;-)
