| I own a Garmin IQue 3600 and would like to purchase some software and
accessories for it that is not offered by Garmin. I know the "guts" of the
3600 are based on one of the Palm products but don't know which one. Can
anyone tell me which Palm the 3600 is based on so that I can select the
proper software and accessories?
Thanks

I think that is based on the Tungsten T through T3 series (but not the
T5). If the 3600 uses the same Palm Universal Connector, accessories
for the T, T2, T3 (but not the T5), Zire 71, m5xx series, i705, m130,
and m125 handhelds will connect to it. That is no guaranty of
compatibility but its a start on finding accessories.
I have a T and a T3 that work great with a mouse style GPS but the
display is virtually useless in daylight. Very disappointing. I did
not check that out very well before I bought the GPS stuff. Works
grreat in dim light though, spectacular display in the right conditions.
If the IQue display is the same the problem could be worse because you
have to get it up in a location with a skyview in use which can put it
up in an area where there is more light too.
