Europe-maps for Nuvi 300
|
|
|
| Hi all, I'm new to the gps thing.
I just bought a Nuvi 300, it was including maps for north of europe,
sweden - norway - finland and denmark.
If i want to have the whole europe, which should i use? Do i have to
buy it, or is there any "free" source to use from the net?
And another thing i seem interesting is that travel guide thing, is it
out there too ?
Hope anyone can help out a bit ..

No, you're fine with asking those kind of questions here. I think the
reason you've not gotten any replies is that there are no sources of
additional free mapping for anything that Garmin sells.
Garmin will sell you all the additional optional packages you want
though. :> )
The Garmin nüvi page has some details on the North American and European
models, and the accessories page lists the optional mapping packages
available.

In hindsight, you might have wanted to buy the 350 model.
Some here, myself included, are a little bemused by the name of that
product and the lack of capitalization in its name. Does "nüvi" mean
anything to you?
