I updated my 2720 with the new version but now it won't speak without using
the speak key, and it won't say the street names. Any tips?

Pam, try going to the Garmin site and downloading the new voice file. One of
the recent updates required that you upload the new voice file if the voices
started acting up. I'd say that is what is happening now! I think the voice
file has the word Jill in it for the 2720. My 7-year old twin neices don't
think she sounds like a Jill, they've nicknamed her Amy!
