Author GPSMAP 60 CS Autorouting Question

G'day NG,

Let me set the scenario:

I need to travel from Melbourne to Sydney and have selected a route using a
paper map. If I set waypoints along this route, can I have the 60CS
autoroute along my chosen route and give me turn-by-turn directions?

Cheers,

Cam

You can if you have the Australian version of the 60CS with the built-in
"base map" for Australia. However that map is not very detailed and so you
would probably want to get the add-on Australia City Navigator maps from
Garmin (about $400 in US dollars !. Probably almost as much as the original
GPS cost!)
