I'm confused about which automotive device to buy (c320, c330, c340, 2610,
2720, Nuvi 350, Quest 2). I want a simple interface, accurate directions,
and without reported bugs. Any recommendations?

I just ran a comparison on this page, which should help...

I won't add much beyond that. Features vs. price is something to look
at. Personally, I'm lusting after a SiRFIII chipset, so the Nuvi has me
drooly. :-)

There are lots of opinions around, but many people are in my opinion a
bit on the techie side!

I wanted a simple unit, easy to use for both me and my wife. I bought
a C330 and like it a lot. It seems very accurate and easy to use. The
only bugs in the map database were obviously very new roads. I like
having everything on the unit HD (no cards to load), so no C320. I
didn't feel that the C340 main feature (road conditions) was worth it,
nor would it probably work where I am.

Anyhow, I am a happy C330 camper. I have taken it on some long trips
and it was well worth having. If you have a specific question, fire
away.

If you want the best for in vehicle road navigation that would be the
2720 but do you want to spend that much and do you want one that large? All
of the ones you list have a simple interface with the 2610 being the hardest
to learn but even it's not bad. As far as accuracy they will all be the
same. There is no significant bugs in any of them. You can be sure that if
there are bugs Garmin will take care of them through free downloadable
software updates.
