Darrel,

since you were the first poster to respond that the n=FCvi can accept
and display topo maps, have you seen such maps displayed with your own
eyes? If you have, what do you think of the quality, detail, color and
readability? How much is really 'lost in translation' that the Garmin
techie mentioned in his response to my question?

I'm seriously considering buying a n=FCvi 350 for driving, cayaking and
light hiking, but don't want to invest in maps that would look crappy.
