prg to convert large # of trackpoints UTM <-> lat/lon

| I have a file (excel or .txt format) containing some 1,000 trackpoint
with a geo reference in NAD27 UTM format. I wonder if anyone knows of
a program or software that easily batch converts a large number of data
points from UTM - lat/lon and vice versa?

g7toWin will do what you want. It's free at
http://www.gpsinformation.org/ronh/g7towin.htm
create one trackpoint by hand and save it as a text file to see the format
that g7toWin uses and then rearrange your excel spreadsheet accordingly to
allow g7toWin to read it. Then you can change settings for datum and
coordinate system. (File:datum File:configuration:g
eneral tab.)
