The reason Garmin and all the others don`t sell Good maps? ''The =

Seams the whole ''Sell you a map'' Group is a scam to steal money from =

We still need to talk to you about your order.
I assume that you do not want the paper copies of the topo maps. Do you=20
want the information on CD-ROM? That would be a special order.

We also have a CD-ROM that includes all 2000 of the quads for Nevada. =
That=20
is $99.95 and is compatible with your Garmin.

The special order would only give you 4 quads and that would cost you =
about=20
$50.00.

You can get the same maps for FREE from numerous sources, but you won't be
able to load them on your Garmin or any other GPS. GPS receivers require
VECTOR data to fit in the limited memory. Virtually all the soft maps at
1:24k except for the Garmin 24K National Parks maps will be BITMAP maps.
Essentally scans of the maps.

If you can't deal with the 1:100,000 maps available for your Garmin, then
you need to learn to use a paper map with your GPS and stop blaming Garmin
for your inability to understand a relativly simple concept.

If you hate Garmin at such a point,
1. take a spade
2. go to the woods (don't use your Garmin to do these in order to
avoid further frustration)
3. dig a hole 3 feet down
4. take the Garmin device and gently put it in the hole you just
digged (please remove the batteries before, for ecological reasons)
5. take the earth extracted and put it all back on top of the device
dropped in step 4
6. take a deep breath and smile. Smile because its over; your Garmin
is gone, hey, no problem anymore !
