| Looking for at GPS to use while walking/running/rollerblading/bicycling -
possibly at unknown "terrain" :-)
Wich one is better: ForeRunner 201, ForeTrex 101 or ForeTrex 201?
Is the 'Runner only really suited for running?
Can the 'Trex be used for running?
A little concerned about the rechargeable battery in ForeTrex 201. What if
I can't get near a plug - then it would be better to use replaceable
batteries (in the 101).

| Tomas,
I have not used any of the listed units before. I have however looked at
them. If memory serves me right only one of them will support plotting of a
map of your traveled area on the GPS screen and the others will jsut give
you running data.
If you live in heavily urban area then I would think the rechargeable
battery will work out well for you because you won't be too far from the
nest (home).
If you'll be away from home and out in the field camping or doing outdoor
activities then I'd highly recommend going with the user replaceable
batteries and bring a personal solar panel like the Isun (
http://www.icpglobal.com -> Products -> Isun). Get 4 x NiMH batteries in a
battery case and keep a set of alkalines if hell broke loose and your run
out of power on the NiMH you can get alkalines anywhere.
Just something to think on.
