I was out on the water today with my boat and when I selected a waypoint to
go to the pink line came up but did not stay with my position icon. The pink
line stayed from where I began but when on water and you need to go around
an obstacle such as an island I would expect the pink line to stay with my
current position icon to the destination So I would be able to follow it
better. I am using Blue Charts 7.0 and would like to know if there is a
setting to solve this problem?

On Map Page press Menu...select Set Up Map...select Line tab...set Bearing
Line to Auto and Course Line to Off.
