I have been trying to upload route details sent to me in a text file. My
Geko201 has the facility to receive this information in the set-up. But for
some reason after changing the set-up and attempting an upload, it says
transfer complete, but no information appears. The manual is very brief on
this subject. Has anyone encountered this problem and found a solution. Many
thanks.

What software are you using to upload the routes to the Geko?

Gekos have a more limited waypoint name size than many other Garmin units (6
characters for the Gekos) and the Geko does not record time stamps with the
waypoints. If the text file you got has incompatible data, try modifying a
waypoint or two to conform to Geko standards and then try again. There
could also be an issue with route naming as well.
