Hi
I use GPSU file utility. The file name may be the problem. However Garmin
have said that the Geko201 only supports .gdb or .mps imported files. GPSU
does not appear to handle these type of files. So I am still searching for a
solution. I would welcome any other ideas.

Syd,
I just used G7ToWin (freeware from
http://www.gpsinformation.org/ronh/g7towin.htm ) to create two waypoints and
a route. They were then successfully loaded into my Geko 201 using the same
software. Give it a try. G7ToWin also has the ability to read text files,
but you will probably have to experiment with it to determine the way the
text files should be structured to be read by G7ToWin.
