My laptop does not have any serial ports for use with my Garmin Emap.
Is anyone using a serial to USB adapter successfully with a Garmin
unit?

I have successfully used a serial to usb adapter for my Emap for about
two years without problems.

Yup. I use a Belkin N10117 serial to USB adapter and it works the nuts.

Yep. I got one from TVNAV that works just fine (usual disclaimers...no
affiliation...just a satisfied customer).

Barry-

Get a name brand. There have been reports of off-brands not working. My
Keyspan works great with my 60CS.
