I noticed today at a stop light my 2610 when mounted on my motorcycle
sure is shakeing around quite a bit. (goes away quick when moving) Is
this unit very sensitive to vibration? or will I be glad I have the 2
year warrenty on it......

The unit is tested for shocks, read the specs:
Dynamics: 6g's // Case: Rugged; fully gasketed

That is why it is used by so many bikers :)
Haven't heard of a malfunction yet, heck mine survived an encounter
with a cager, it was and is still going ...
