Hi , I am a novice user and with help from this group have just got my
garmin fortrex 201 connected to the pc and have had a play with the gartrip
software. How can I superimpose my track data over a map of the same area
for more practicle viewing?

Alternativley , what is everyone else doing with thier data? I am just
trying to understand the practicle uses and ways off retaining and viewing
my data.

Thanks

Tom

A good free application is USAPhotoMaps (http://www.jdmcox.com/).
TopoFusion (http:/www.topofusion.com/) has a more extensive set of
features, including stats on your trip, which might be of use to
runners, hikers, bikers, etc. There are chapters on both in my new
book.
