I don't have Legend C, but have had similar problem on my Street Pilot =

when I tried MetroGuide instead of City Navigator. IOW, if you load
MetroGuide to your Garmin, then it could be the reason why it messes up =
the
auto-routing. Because MetroGuide won't do auto-routing on Garmin itself =
but
PC only.
So, you would want to unloaded MetroGuide from your Garmin (if you have
City Navigator or City Select of course) then use either City Navigator =
or
City Select, and you should have the problem solved.
