Just ordered a Garmin Fortrex 201 to replace my mechanical pedometer. Seems
like a much more accurate way to measure distance walked. Plus, looks like
a fun new toy. Anyone with experience with this unit? Pros and cons?
Thanks!

This is one neat little unit. I use it mostly for bike riding. You can
cut a piece of plastic foam water pipe insulation the width of the band,
and you have a shock absorbing handle bar mount for less than 25 cents.
It should make a nice walk-around unit also. The trackback feature
should come in handy, as you can select trackback and it will give you
progressive direction cues to you point of origin. I love the compact
size. Enjoy it.
