Has anyone in this group been using the GPS 10 with Oziexplorer and the add
on for PDA? I am envious of the fact that you have all the maps but as I am
in Papua New Guinea I will have to make my own. I had a lovely ifinder that
I used but the World base map wasn't good for what I need and no maps for
here, but thieves took that one night so I will try to buy something that is
more useful.
I have Expert GPS but as Ozi has a PDA version I will buy a ipaq and the
GPS 10 which I think should be good. I will use it for fishing in the Bay to
plot the Fads and mark the places I get good yellowfin and billfish. On the
land I want to use it for marking turnoffs (Road signs are used for roofing
Iron) and the villages I visit.
Do you think this would be the setup best suited for me. (I am a computer
guy and the PDA would be used daily anyway).
