Greetings all!

I'm about to buy an e Trex Legend colour receiver (approx US$ 525.00
with Garmap SA software), but would first like to know the following
as a possible alternative:

Can someone please amswer the following questions for me, or help me
to the right site(s) on the internet:

Does the Garmin Garmap software (Garmap SA, version 3) allow maps to
be saved onto SD cards from a PC?

If so, is there any GPS software available, either freeware/shareware
or commercial, that can be loaded onto a Palmone Treo 650 smartphone,
and then be used to read the Garmin Mapsource maps off the SD card,
preferably with autorouting, via a Bluetooth receiver?

My problem is that I'm in South Africa, and as far as I've been able
to tell, the best and most recent autorouting maps available for South
Africa is the Garmin Garmap SA, version 3.

If the smartphone/Bluetooth option is not viable, I'll happily go with
the Garmin stand-alone unit.

Thanks in advance for any help
