Hi All,
I am hoping that someone here has some helpful ideas for me. I recently
purchased a Streetpilot III on EBay. It came from a Marine supply place in
Florida and was listed as an "out of box" model. It arrived in beautiful
condition with all accessories as well as a shrinkwrapped copy of Map Source
City Navigator ver 4.01. Now I also got the unlock code and cupon code with
my software as well as the previous owners info. Now my problem is that
even though my unlock codes appear to be accepted by the program, I can not
select any areas on the map to upload to the 32mb card. nothing gets
outlined in yellow like the manual claims. Anyone have a similar
experience, or some insight to my plight? Also, the USB card programmer
does not want to stay recognized by my Windows XP. Thanks, Steve

You may need to buy a LARGER memory card. I don't know exactly what =
type
of problem you have at your end, so I will try to give you the general =
basic
step.

1. Install MapSource (the front-end program). Actually, when installed =
City
Navigator, MapSource will be installed.

2. From MapSourse, select City Navigator from PULL-DOWN Menu. Select =
show
Detail Displaying if you wish

3. Then you can select whatever BLOCK (session) you wish to load to =
memory
card, the Block will display on the Left_Hand_Side window with =
information
like city Name, Block SIZE, and total memory etc..

4. Then you can tell it to save to memory card (a Memory Card =
reader/writer
connects to USB port)

BTW, if I am not mistaken Street Pilot III should come with 128MB card =
(or
your is an older offer which Garmin later gave 128MB card for previous
buyers, I think).
