City Select NA v7 observations

I just received the City Select North America v7 update DVD. Unlike
the new City Navigator maps, City Select v7 is still broken down into
the familiar, rectangular map regions. The file sizes range from just a
few KB to 7 MB (that largest one is Nanaimo, British Columbia), with
most in the 1-2 MB region. This is good news for owners of small-memory
devices, and marks a significant difference between City Select and
City Navigator beginning with v7.

Total map set size is 1.28 GB. I don't have figures for CS NA v6.
Version 5 was 1.06 GB.

As with City Navigator, there appears to be a different encoding scheme
used in the LBL section.
