| Just got a Vista C as replacement for my old Legend
The 500 Waypoint limit is hurting me.
a) is there any way to increase this limit (at the cost of
map memory ot maybe track memory)?
b) how do I delete waypoints (other than selecting them one by
one)? Is there a 'clear all waypoints' function?
Thanks

| Will be easier to download your waypoints, routes, etc. from the GPS to
Mapsource on the PC and then mange the Waypoints and then upload again.
There are many third party programs that do an even better job than
Mapsource.
I think they now call Mapsource the "Trip Editor" or something.
500 waypoints... is a lot of points.
With the editor, you can store waypoints in any kind of sets that make
sense to you and then only upload the sets you need.

I found this, it is in the 'reset' on the trip calculator.
new question:
c) is there any way to use smaller fonts on the data fields.
The C screens are a bit shorter than the Legend ones and every
but of realestate counts.

I know and have used Mapsource for years.
The issue there seems to be that uploading new waypoints to a GPSR
dows not empty the list, so if you maxed out, you cannot easily
'replace' the whole set w/o doing a 'delete all waypoints' on the
GPSR (trip calculator/reset) first.
