Can I update my 2620 with the City Navigator V7 software that was released
with the 2720?

TIA

There's a DVD update for the 2620. See "City Navigator North America
DVD for the StreetPilot 2620" at http://www.garmin.com/unlock/update.jsp

Which has been back-ordered for at least three weeks, unless there's a
different version for my 2610 than for the 2620.... (I got off the
phone with Garmin an hour ago about why my order hasn't shipped in
the past three weeks....)

Yes, the 2620 update DVD is its own special beast, as the 2620 doesn't
load maps through MapSource. The update DVD for the 2620 just writes
a new map image to the microdrive. Completely different than the
general v7 update.

Is this update worth the $150.00?

What are the benefits of buying this update? Any new features??

Thanks,
M
