Earbud PTT Mic accessory seems a bit steep at $30+/- for what is essentially
a two or three dollar item.

Any generics out there, or anyone with a wiring diagram for the jack so I
can fabricate my own?

I've got three different PTT/earbud sets from ALL electronic for about a
dollar each, and don't see why I can't use one of them with the proper plug
and wiring.

The GPS is great, the radio rather weak.
