nüvi? What the heck is a nüvi? Google sheds no light on possible
meanings or associations.

Is this another masterful stroke of inept market engineering? A product
name that is probably meaningless and confusing to the majority if not
all of the English speaking market?

Most Americans are going to want to call that a "noovey". The umlauted
"u" or ü character is properly pronounced as the "i" in fish. So maybe
it is a "nivvey"?
