Garmin does not have any alternative. Both the PPc format and Phone gps
are coming in waves in the next few months. And they know it.

n=FCvi is the first in the dedicated gps units not quite dedicated at
all. They are to get some of traditionally ppc functions.

Remember those 8m or 16 m cards at $100 plus . Now you can junk them
all.

First they started off with gps 10 which can co-exists with others'
hardware+software.

Now a repackaged 26xx series with other multifunctions. Who would buy
26xx series now?
