I was suprised to discover during a flight last week that the Garmin Quest
has an aviation mode that that appears not to be available during ground
level use. See my screenshot below:

Here it is displaying VMG (Velocity Made Good), vertical speed, and the
compass has converted itself into an aircraft style NAV gauge.
