| Hi,
I'm new to the world of automotive GPS so I was wondering if I can get
some feedback on the two garmin models that I'm looking at. I'm
currently considering the StreetPilot c340 and the StreetPilot 2720
They are seperated by 200 Canadian dollars and I really want to know
what more am I getting by paying the extra 200 dollars? The obvious
thing that I've noticed was automatic brightness control and you get a
remote control.
Thanks

| I think the 2720 is a far better unit. To many reasons to list here. Go
to scienceblog.com and type in "garmin 2720" then read their comments,
but more inportantly scroll down to the end of the article and read all
the comments from people who sited their experiences.
I purchased my 2720 from TigerGPS.com and I was pleased with their fast
service and low shipping costs.

| There are two reasons I ordered the 2720. I like the bean bag base better
than the windshield suction cup, and the 340 only goes from one point to one
destination. In the 2720 you can put in several destinations and it figures
out the best order of travel. I expect to receive mine tomorrow. I had a
2610 and it was stolen. I really miss it.
