Transferring data to a cf card

| How do I go about transferring my MapSource maps to a CF card in a reader?
Does the program recognize it as a device? Do I save them as a file type and
then transfer them? Can you transfer everything? Thanks.

The PC and MapSource should see the card reader as a disk drive, and
assign it a letter, say E:
You can transfer the data to it as you would to the GPS. Note that the CF
card only holds map data not waypoints, routes, tracks etc.

| I'm transferring to my 2710 and want the maps and points of interest. The
first time I didn't have a card reader and uploaded it to the machine
itself. Got the new City Nav update and thought it would be faster to do it
with the reader. Should be, right?
