Author Wrong Way On A One Way Street?

I've had my Quest close to three months and recently upgraded (for
free) to City Select v7. About a week ago it suggested I should turn
right onto a one way street -- going the wrong way, and this afternoon
told me to turn left while I was staring at an old rusty No Left Turn
sign. In the case of the one way street, I'm pretty sure it was that
way for years and the No left Turn is 24 hours a day and has been
since the beginning of time. Were these just rare glitches, or does
City Select not know about left turns and one way streets?

Are you sure it was not set for pedestrian use? In that mode it does
not recognize one way streets. In car mode it does.

I have found several street omissions in my Quest 2

Mine`s set for car / motorcycle, and it wants me to turn the wrong way
onto a dual carriageway (CS:EU)

It knows as much about the streets as the people who coded the map data
told it, and even if perfect, only what was true at the instant they coded
it.

Human error or changes to the traffic rules made after the fact will
always render your GPS map data less than perfect.

Also your using City Select. Maybe City Navigator doesn't have that problem
since it has more Road Data for it then City Select.

ISTR the additional data in CN is things like the number of traffic
lights, time restrictions in force for a road, and not basic routing
information.

Possibly; how often does each and every street in an entire map set
get reviewed?
