QUESTIONS:

Is there a screen protector out there for a Quest 2>

If the quest is dropped will the harddrive break.or is it as rugged as my
GPS V. Which I have dropped several times.

I believe the 256 megs of RAM is solid state, no drive to break.

You can probably make a screen protector by cutting one made for a PDA.

Here's an interesting article on how to use vinyl sheet material to
protect the screen.

I always used tape on my earlier GPS, but this seems like it might be
a much better material.

Just for the record, I believe the drop question pertained to a Quest
2. The Quest 2 has a lot more memory than the original Quest, so I
assume it does have a hard disk. In which case, drop it on a hard tile
or wood floor and it will most likely be toast. )-8

It has to be solid state. I don't believe you could buy any hard drive
with such a small capacity.

Back to the topic... I have no protector on my Quest, and it is doing
fine. But maybe SDJ is in a harsher environment.

The Quest 2 does not have a hard drive. It is solid state memory.
