I want to get both an automotive GPS and a satellite radio receiver in the
future. I am giving some thought to a combination unit and I realize that
these are just now about to be released. Here is the
http://www.garmin.com/products/sp2730/ Garmin unit that I am considering
that offers XM. The Xact unit with Sirius is here
http://www.xactcommunication.com/NA...le-GPS-114.html
Do you folks think that this is a good convergance of technologies? Since I
do not currently own a GPS and I am not a satellite radio subscriber I am
looking here for your thoughts and suggestions.

I have had the 2730 for a week. The Fm transmitter setup does not work well
as signal is too weak.
It does work Ok IF your vehicle has the radio antenna mounted on the front
fender near windshield.
Ideal setup it a aux jack on your car radio and connect it with a cable.
Others are reporting the same problem!
