Garmin GPS - City Navigator North American V7

We have a Garmin SPIII that we recently installed City Navigator North
American V7 on (note - the PC software and unit software are the most
current versions), all is working well save for one anomaly that the map
software update produced. When searching for some addresses when using the
Garmin SPIII the software produces a dash "-" post a four digit address that
cannot be replaced with a 5th digit.

What does the dash "-" mean and how can we correct/ work around this?
